How to fill in your brows?

How to fill in your brows?

Eyebrows are a key step in your beauty routine, and it is important to find what product works best for you. There are so many options for how to get your ideal brow: powder, pencil, pomade or pen. To make your decision as easy as possible we have outlined each option and which would be best for you!

Powder

Brow powders are amazing at giving your brows a softer effect. You don’t even have to go out and buy a new product. If you have an eyeshadow close to your base hair colour then that will work just as well to give you long-lasting natural brows. They can be used to fill in any sparse areas and can be relatively quick and easy to use. Use an angled brush to mimic hair-like strokes in any areas on your brows lacking natural hair.

Pencil

Pencils are one of the most popular options to use and can give really natural results if used correctly. They can even be used alongside other products if you’re a real brow whiz! The danger of using a brow pencil is that it can sometimes look blocky and unnatural. To avoid this, use a light hand when applying and start in the middle of your brow. This will mean the start of your brow has a more natural and softer look.

Pomade

If you love a bold brow then pomade may be the one for you. Pomade can be tricky to use as they have a tendency to give a more bold, dramatic look. However, pomade can be amazing if you have very few natural brow hairs and need more assistance in that area. Stick to thin, hair-line strokes to create the effect of natural hairs and be sure not to over-do it.

Pen

Personally, pen is our favourite! Pens are some of the best at creating hair-like strokes as you have more control and can create your desired effect. They are the go-to choices for make-up artists and last all day! Be sure to take your time as you get used to using a pen, but once you’ve got the hang of it, it will be easy peasy! Our Eyebrow Definer is an amazing product to give you defined, natural-looking brows.
